Where to apply and points of attention for visa application

It is very important that you read this part before going further for more and detailed information about visa application.

• The Consulate General accepts visa applications from residents of Guangdong, Fujian , Guangxi and Hainan. Residents of other provinces should apply to the following Norwegian missions.
• Visa hours are from 09.30 to 11.30, Monday to Friday except for public holidays. Please click for Norwegian and Chinese public holidays here.
• Our address is: Royal Norwegian Consulate General, Suite 1802, Citic Plaza, No 233 Tian he North Road, Guangzhou. here
• For visa inquiries, you may call 38113188 from 14.00 to 15.00, Monday to Friday, or contact us at  visa.guangzhou@mfa.no
• Fees for handling visa or residence permit are to be paid to the Consulate's designated bank account.
• You will be given a receipt after submitting your application and paid the handling fee. You will need this receipt to pick up your passport afterwards.
• All documents must be translated into either English or Norwegian. 
• The Consulate General reserves the right to request additional documents.
