Rammasun, the strongest typhoon to strike Hainan since 1973, heavily hit parts of Hainan, Guangdong and Guangxi from the afternoon of 18th July until the morning of 19th July. It brought rain, landslides and strong storms to several cities, and 3.874 million people from the three provinces have been affected.
