Norwegian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce established in Oslo
In March 2006 the first Chamber of Commerce covering all China was established in Oslo. T he Launching of NCCC was carried out by Tor Christian Hildan, Norway's Ambassador to China, and Sun Liwei, Economic & Commercial Counsellor at China's Embassy to Norway.
The new chamber of commerce received greetings from Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the three Norwegian business associations operating in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
The mission of the Norwegian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce is to provide a professional and social forum for those wishing to participate in the Norwegian-Chinese business and cultural communities, thus promoting business opportunities between the two countries. Their aim is to become the preferred forum for Norwegian-Chinese business participants in Norway.
