The Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Trond Giske was in China January 11-14. The purpose of his visit was to promote Sino-Norwegian trade and Norwegian export to China.

The Norwegian Minister of Culture will be in Shanghai and Beijing September 26-29th. This is the first visit to China by the Minister Huitfeldt and she will have a tight but comprehensive schedule during her visit.

Mr Heggem recently concluded his visit to China, which took place from the 27th of June to the 3rd of July. The delegation had talks in Beijing, Inner Mongolia and Shanghai.

As part of an extensive trip to China that included participation at the EXPO in Shanghai, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Trond Giske, also visited Guangdong in the end of May. Mr. Giske is a strong advocate for closer Sino-Norwegian business and trade relations.

The Norwegian minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Trond Giske was on a 10-day visit to China between the 21st and 31st of May. The minister’s program, which centered on Norway Day at Expo 2010 Shanghai also included visits to Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Chongqing.
