Insurance is required upon submission of the application
A medical travel insurance is required with a minimum coverage of €30.000 (300 000 RMB). This insurance must be valid in all Schengen countries and for the entire duration of visit in the Schengen area.
Medical health/travel insurance must meet the following criteria:
- It is valid throughout Schengen territory.
- It is valid during the entire period that you will be in Schengen territory.
- The coverage is at least EURO 30.000 (RMB 300 000).
- The coverage includes repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical care and/or emergency treatment in a hospital.
We will only accept machine-written insurance policies.
Exemptions
-EU/EEA/EFTA-citizens and their family members
(when accompanying an EEA-reference person to Norway or in reunification with an EEA citizen already residing in Norway).
-Holders of diplomatic and service passports.
-Sea farers
