The LNG-seminar is jointly hosted by the Royal Norwegian Consulate in Shanghai, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, the Royal Norwegian Consulate in Guangzhou, the Norwegian Business Association and Innovation Norway.The basis of the seminar is a study on the opportunities for collaboration between Norway and China in China`s rapidly growing LNG industry, which will be presented by Mr. Stone Zhang from the Norwegian Veritas (DNV).
The seminar will also include several presentations, covering a range of areas within the LNG market, such as; shipbuilding, LNG transportation, and the use of LNG as a fuel. Throughout the day, high-ranking representatives from Dalian Shipyard, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group, I.M. Skaugen, MARINTEK, and Norwegian Maritime Exporters will share their experiences and future expectations within their respective fields of expertise.
Through this wide range of presentations and an active dialogue with the audience, the objective to create a platform for future collaboration, opportunities and synergies between businesses from the Chinese and Norwegian Maritime LNG sector can be achieved.
