The Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and the British Council has recently co-funded workshops on Climate Change and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) conducted in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. The workshops aimed at explaining the potential of the CCS technology to the Chinese media. Read more

Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg will be hosting the High-Level Conference on Climate Change and Technology in Bergen on 27-28 May 2009. The agenda will focus on carbon capture and storage (CCS), a technology that could prove crucial if the world is to achieve necessary cuts in global greenhouse gas emissions. Read more

Recently it invited customers, suppliers, business associates and representatives from the public sector and business communities in Scandinavia and Ningbo to a grand opening celebrating that construction phase II is in the process of completion. The Norwegian company Metallkraft has received international attention for its development of technology that recycles the slurry used in production of solar panels in an environment friendly way. On April 21st their new plant opened in Yangzhou in Jiangsu province. Read more
