During his stay in Beijing Mr. Ramstad will speak at the architecture seminar “architecture & art” at Broadway Cinematheque MOMA (BC MOMA). The seminar is organized by Area Magazine, who has good knowledge of contemporary Norwegian architecture and the magazine released a special edition of Norwegian architecture after the study trip to Norway in March.
On December 13, Mr. Ramstad will give a talk at the School of Architecture, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). The school has strong ties to the Oslo College of Architecture and Design (AHO) with exchange scholars and students.
The Reiulf Ramstad Architects (RRA) has received many awards since 1993 for their projects in Norway. RRA describes their way of architecture as “distinguished by innovative tectonic forms that interpret the spatial continuity between exterior and interior landscapes in new way”. The architects are especially known for their focus on the Norwegian landscape in their architectural works.
