Robert Greenwood is partner and director at renowned Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta. May 25, he is giving an open lecture at Tongji University, entitled “Architecture and Design Inspired by Norwegian Nature”.
Snøhetta operates at the frontiers of architectural innovation, taking inspiration both from Norwegian nature and a holistic design philosophy. Their projects include the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt and the Opera House in Oslo.
May 25 2011 (Wednesday), Greenwood will be holding an open lecture at Tongji University, home to one of China’s most prestigious Civil Engineering departments. He will be introduced by Consul Per Wiggen at the Consulate General in Shanghai. The event will be moderated by Professor Chang Qing of Tongji University.
The lecture starts at 18:00, in the Bell Hall Auditorium of the CAUP (College of Architecture and Urban Planning) Building B.
