3RW WORKS – a holistic approach to landscape transformation

Mr. Espen Herman Rahlff, owner and partner of 3RW Architects, will present some of their works, both in a local Norwegian and international context. The lecture will focus on 3RW’s diverse approach to architectural answers, as background for individual action and response, based on a broad understanding of the landscape as both natural and built environment and its possibility to transform in the way we use it and think of it.

About the lecturer

As owner and partner of 3RW Architects, Mr. Espen Herman Rahlff is involved in the strategic planning and the daily management at 3RW. He is also working as project manager for several running projects at the office. Through his work he has gained great experience as an architect and urban planner. Mr. Rahlff has been teaching at several institutions in Norway and abroad. Since 1991 been engaged as main teacher at all levels at the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) and today he is also a board member at the institution. Mr. Rahlff is at the moment working on the planning and development for 726 new student flats at Grønneviksøren in Bergen.
