Heidi Sand’s Bud Bowl wins Golden award, Trond Kasper Mikkelsen’s Transformer wins Silver award, Leif Stangebye-Nielsen’s Aqua wins Excellence award.
Organized by the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, the 2009 International Metal Art Exhibition & Seminar will take place in Beijing on March 16-25th 2009. Themed under Communication & Trends, the exhibition aims to discuss new trends and ideas in academic metal art practice, research and education, as well as to provide an opportunity to strengthen dialogue amongst art colleges and institutions.
Ingjerd Hanevold, Prorector of Oslo National Academy of the Arts, participated 2009 International Metal Art Exhibition and is member of the jury.
