Norwegian Artists at the Beijing Biennale

Last updated: 17/09/2010 // Torhild Aukan and Marianne Hultmann will participate at the Beijing Biennale 2010.

The Fourth International Beijing Biennale opens at the China National Museum of Art, 20.September, and more than 100 nations are represented.

The Norwegian artist Torhild Aukan is invited to show the work "sophie". A portrait translated into wood using cyanotype. The work measures 150x150cm. 

In connection to the biennale, there is a symposium on ecological thinking and global consciousness. Marianne Hultman, the director of Oslo Fine Art Society, will hold a lecture at the symposium at the Beijing Biennale. Her exhibition has been named “Curb Your Enthusiasm – Stop Making Sense” which is a presentation of different layers within the contemporary art field in Israel.
