Verdensteatret participate at the 2010 Shanghai Biennale with their latest work “And All the Questionmarks Started to Sing”.
The large scale installation, “And All the Questionmarks Started to Sing”, will be presented as a performance/concert during the first week of the Biennale, opening on the 23rd of October. This is the very first time Norway is represented at one of the most important international art events in China.
October 23-30: Live Performance and Installation
November 01- December 31: Installation only
Verdensteatret is an art group based in Oslo. The group consists of artists from many different artistic professions making installations, performance art, concerts and other art related works. Characteristic for their work is that they are building exquisite links between seemingly incompatible technologies and materials. The art group currently ranks amongst the most innovative art groups in Norway. Their characteristic combination of advanced technology in a close dialogue with more traditional tools, results in complex works and space-related compositions. Their works have been presented internationally in different art contexts and locations.
