Norwegian Films at Shanghai International Film Festival

Five Norwegian features have been selected for the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival that will be held between June 12-20. With a screening program of close to 1,000 films, the festival is the biggest event of its kind in the country.

The Norwegian movie "The Storm in My Heart" ("Jernanger") was nominated for the grand prix - the Golden Cup - in Shanghai International Film Festival, which ran from June 13th-21st. Three additional Norwegian movies and two shorts screened in the Panorama sidebar.

Last weeks award show at the Nordic Film Festival in, France, left two Norwegian films with two of the most prestigious prizes. Eva Sørhaug`s first film “Cold Lunch” was awarded the Grand Prix de Jury, while Nils Gaup with the “The Kautokeino rebellion” won the audience award
