This year’s successful Seafood Dinner, hosted by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, Norwegian Business Association and the Norwegian Seafood Council, attracted 500 guests, which is the largest number of people attending since its launch six years ago. The Norwegian agency Hildring was responsible for developing the concept of the dinner, which focused on fresh and honest Norwegian seafood, in a Norwegian design setting.
Norwegian Consul General in Shanghai Øyvind Stokke, and Chairman of the Norwegian Business Association Erik Aaberg, were each holding an opening speech. You can read Øyvind Stokke’s opening speech here. Then a short film about the Norwegian Head Chef Adrian Løvold diving for scallops by the Norwegian west coast was shown, before he was invited to the stage to present the menu, developed and cooked in close collaboration with Head Chef at Marriot Jeremy Harris, and his team.
