Renowned Norwegian author and philosopher Lars Svendsen will be holding a presentation Sunday 06.03.2011, at M on the Bund in Shanghai.
Svendsen’s books have been translated into 22 languages, and explore different themes through a modern fusion of pop culture and western philosophy.
Since his debut in 1999, his works have been met with worldwide popular and critical acclaim. At the presentation, Svendsen will be talking about his first book, “The Philosophy of Boredom”, which along with two other works has recently been translated into Chinese and published by Peking University Press.
The event is part of the 2011 Shanghai International Literary Festival.
