On the occasion of well-known Norwegian writer Ragnar Hovland’s visit to China, Hunan Juvenile & Children’s Publishing House will organize a forum of Development of Children and Juvenile’s Literature.
Ragnar Hovland and seniors from the Chinese Writers Association, Hunan Juvenile & Children’s Publishing House, Chinese Children’s literature writers, translators and critics, teachers and students will pariticpate the seminar.
Purpose:
1. Strengthen the communication on publishing between Norway and China;
2. Encourage the creation and promotion of domestic children’s literature;
3. Expand the influence of World’s classic of children’s literature.
Seminar topics:
- How to start the development;
- Translation of foreign children’s literature;
- Publication of foreign children’s literature books;
- Promotion of outstanding children’s literature works.
