The award winning Norwegian jazz duo Ferner/Juliusson tours China in October. Saturday 15 October they are playing at Shenzhen University.
The Jazz duo won the title ‘Young Jazz Musicians of the Year' in the finals of the Norwegian Jazzintro competition in 2010.The winners of this prestigious prize are offered an extensive launch programme over the course of two years. The duo will play before audiences in Norway and abroad, and in October they come to China on a tour organised by Concerts Norway in cooperation with WU Promotion, and financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The duo's music draws upon different musical directions, styles and ideals. From 13 – 24 October, they will play for audiences in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tianjin and Beijing.
