On October 25th Fannaråken Wind Quartet will hold an open concert for audience of all ages at Fudan University.
Fannaråken Wind Quintet is named after a 2000 meter high mountain in the astonishing mountain ridge Jotunheimen.
The quintet was established in 2005 and consists of Steinar Dølve (flute), Ingunn Lien (oboe), Magnus Kvam (bassoon), Inge H. Mortensen (french horn), and Jan Inge Moksnes (clarinet). In addition to playing in Fannaråken the members also have individual careers, both as freelancers and in different musical ensembles in Norway.
Fannaråken is a great example of how music and nature is united in a performance which includes everything from serious classical, to crossover and Norwegian folk music.
The concert starts at 19.00.
