The new Norwegian band, ‘Needlepoint’, plays at Mao Live House on the 9th of October. The trio consists of Nikolai Hængsle Eilertsen, Thomas Bjørn and Strønen Klakegg, and they released their debut album, The Woods Are Not What They Seem, in March this year. On the album, the group is mixing various music genres, but their main expression is rock inspired jazz, and the different musical profile of the three members creates an exacting musical experience.
