From Norway to Horse-festival in China

Last updated: 28/10/2010 // The two Norwegian females Cathrine Engebretsen and Thea Hofossæter will both participate at the 8th China Wuhan International Equestrian Festival from the 28th of October till the 1st November 2010.

The International Wuhan Racing Festival will take place in Wuhan at the Orient Lucky City and is one of the first big events that are planned at the stadium. In 2008 Wuhan Race course was appointed by the Government as the official trial racecourse of China. The huge new grandstand of Wuhan Orient Lucky City International Racecourse was for that reason built.

The International Federation of Gentlemen and Lady Riders (Fegentri), which today consists of more than 24 different countries included Norway is invited for the first international amateur race in China.

Norway has two representatives during this big event. Cathrine Engebretsen will be riding at the Wuhan Orient Lucky City Racecourse, while Thea Hofossæter will be representing Norwegian amateur riders as she is part of the Norwegian amateur riders’ organisation (NoARK).

FEGENTRI by all its amateur riders is looking forward to go Far-East.
