The 4th Tour De Ski China 2010 – 2011

Last updated: 26/11/2010 // Tour De Ski China is a brand new concept and event that is organized by FIS-International Ski Federation, Chinese Ski Association (CSA) and Nordic Ways, which takes the world's best XC skiers to the most extraordinary ski arenas across China competing for official FIS Points.

There will be at least 40 skiers of the top 100 in FIS points rank taking part in the events. This is a platform for top young ski athletes and master ski profiles to enjoy a lifetime experience at the stages in northern winter China. There will be 4 stages in 3 different cities for this year’s event!

 

 

Stage 1 & Stage 2 : Xiwuqi, Inner Mongolia

Two-day ski journey of sprint distance and long distance on the wide majestic grassland!

Stage 3 : Bird’s Nest, Beijing

Stage 4 : Jingyuetan Park, Changchun - the 9th Vasaloppet China 2011

Originating from Vasaloppet Sweden, the biggest ski event in the world with over 45,000 skiers participating every year, Vasaloppet China has been one tradition as the biggest XC ski event in China with an 8-year history.

As a part of Changchun Snow, Ice & Tourism Festival, it is not only a ski event for young and old, elites and amateurs, but also a gathering platform for all families with a grand New Year’s Banquet!

Date: Jan. 2nd 2011 Venue: Jingyuetan National Park, Changchun City, Jilin Province

 How to get there: You can reach Changchun by flight; it takes about 1 and a half hour from Beijing. Then you can go by bus 160, 120 or light train to the station of “ Jingyuetan”.
