Shanghai Ballet to Norwegian fjord!

This May and June solo dancers from the well renowned Shanghai Ballet are going on a Norway trip. After performing at "Hardanger Musikkfest" - a music festival in the heart of Norwegian fjord scenery - they will go to Oslo to meet the Norwegian National Ballet (Nasjonalballetten).

Shanghai Ballet performs both Chinese, classical and modern dance, and has won a number of awards in various international competitions. In addition, they are known as "ballet diplomats" in connection with China and Japan normalizing relations in the 1970's.
Hardanger offers some of the most beautiful scenery Norway has to offer. The festival has been organized since 1996.
