A Norwegian Cultural Week will be held at Expo from the 8th -14th of October, featuring various Norwegian and Chinese artists collaborating on music projects. During this week, artists will use music to bridge between cultural differences in Norway and China. Read more

When all the Norwegian Expo guides were invited to a party with the other Nordic countries, Vice Minister Halvard Ingebrigtsen joined the rest of the EXPO-administration and other representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Consulate General, and took over as guide in the Norwegian pavilion. The Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai and The Foundation for Design and Architecture in Norway will host the seminar The Architecture of Tourism; Authenticity, heritage and renewal at the Norwegian Expo pavilion on September 27th. Read more

The Cosmic Wind concert is the result of a cultural collaboration project that aims to gather people with different ethnic, cultural and artistic background to work and create together. The project also aims to spread multicultural aspects from the Norwegian music stage to a Chinese audience. Read more

The 8th of October will be a Norwegian concert day at Expo, and there will be several music performances at the European stage, including the two concerts ‘The Moon’ and ‘Cosmic Wind’. Read more

The welfare week will be held at the Norwegian Pavilion Business Centre from the 14th – 18th of September. It will be hosted by the Ministry of Education & Research, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Norwegian Research Council. Read more

After several years of preparation, on April 30 Shanghai is finally ready for the grand opening of the biggest World Exposition in history. Norway at Expo 2010 is proud to present “The Norwegian Evening” at Expo in cooperation with Secret Garden and I.M. Skaugen. Secret Garden front figure and composer, Rolf Løvland, has written an orchestral suite especially for Norway’s pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. The suite can be experienced every evening as a multimedia performance in the Norwegian Pavilion. Read more
