The 8th of October will be a Norwegian concert day at Expo, and there will be several music performances at the European stage, including the two concerts ‘The Moon’ and ‘Cosmic Wind’.
‘The Moon’ is a cultural cooperation between Norway and China, especially developed for the Expo in Shanghai 2010. It involves young talented artists, such as the Norwegian composer Martin Romberg and the two Norwegian/Chinese violinists and sisters, Sara and Catharina Chen. Read more about ‘The Moon’ here.
‘The Cosmic Wind’ collaboration also aims to melt cultural boundaries between China and Norway, and includes the Norwegian group Poing and the artist wind (Øyvind Aamot). Other artists involved are Kouame Sereba, Bian Liu Nian, Fang JinLong and Wu Fei. Read more here.
Specific time schedule for the concerts on the 8th of October will be announced later.
