Vice Minister of Trade and Industry Halvard Ingebrigtsen took over as guide in the Norwegian Pavilion

Last updated: 20/09/2010 // When all the Norwegian Expo guides were invited to a party with the other Nordic countries, Vice Minister Halvard Ingebrigtsen joined the rest of the EXPO-administration and other representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Consulate General, and took over as guide in the Norwegian pavilion.

It was a fun experience to be a guide. I got an idea of what this challenging work is all about and how the guides help to create a positive experience of the Norwegian Pavilion. They give the audience a glimpse of Norway, and they do an awesome job of promoting Norway in China, said Ingebrigtsen afterwards.

The Vice Minister was visiting Expo to host a seminar held in the Norwegian Pavilion on the 16th of September in order to promote its e-government platform, ‘Altinn’. After the seminar, Ingebrigsten tried different “guiding activities” in the Norwegian Pavilion.

The Norwegian pavilion has 37 guides, both Norwegian and Chinese, which all speak Norwegian, English and Chinese.
