On April 27th, the process of changing what is still just a huge construction site into Norway's pavilion at World Expo 2010 in Shanghai will officially begin. A groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site will mark the event.

World Expo lasts from May 1st to October 31st 2010 and is expecting a total of 70 million visitors from all over the world, of which three million are expected to come by the Norwegian pavilion.
State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry Ms. Rikke Lind, Norwegian Consul General Mr. Fred H. Nomme and Commissioner General for Norway at Expo Mr. Arild Blixrud will all attend the ceremony.
