Shanghai Maritime University and DNV signs strategic partnership

28th of November, dean of Shanghai Maritime University Yu Shi Cheng and vice chairman of DNV Jørg Beiler signed a strategic partnership contract, and opened a Shanghai Maritime University and DNV international cooperation centre.
The cooperation centre will provide an arena for cooperation within various fields, including the areas of maritime research and training of personnel. The centre will also set up scholarships. Both sides feel that this new partnership agreement is further strengthening the good relationship between them, and will allow for cooperation to take place on even more fields than before.
Jørg Beiler also received the honor of being appointed guest professor the Shanghai Maritime University
