The title of the workshop is: Family and Working Life in Chinese and Nordic Welfare Policies.
Apart from the note on SNoW Workshop 2016, China National Human Development Report 2016 will be represented. The China National Human Development Report 2016 was launched in Beijing on 22 August 2016. The report is a collaboration between UNDP China and Development Research Center of the State Council of China. The Report, entitled“Social Innovation for Inclusive Human Development”, explores the development challenges of China where progress has come with increased inequalities and disparities, and provides policy options to address them through innovation on social policies and public governance.
Altogether 19 papers will be presented, and participants come from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, China and Cambodia. Chinese institutions represented are Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Shanghai Lixin Univeristy.
