The October holiday has just passed, hopefully leaving you well rested and ready for the reaming part of the Shanghai autumn. Cultural arrangements are certainly an important part of the Norwegian involvement in Shanghai. The theater enthusiasts of the city thus warmly welcomed the Norwegian Theater and its production of Jon Fosse’s play the Name when they visited Shanghai last month. This weekend another Norwegian playwright will be celebrated during the 2nd International Ibsen Festival for University Students in Nanjing. Meanwhile, there is undeniably quite a lot of activity going on in other areas as well. Shanghai and Trondheim Joining Heads to Develop Sustainable Energy
	A delegation of 13 people from Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) led by Prof. Wang Ruzhu, Vice Dean of the Power and Energy Engineering School, visited Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Sept. 18-22, 2011. Read more >

Energy Management Team on Informative Visit to Norway
	In Septebmer 2011, Innovation Norway invited their partners in the China Recycling Energy Corporation on a study trip to Norway, Denmark and Iceland. The goal was to study best-practices at various Waste Heat Recovery plants. The tour gave the parties a chance to discuss common challenges and was deemed a success by both organisers and participants. Read more >

	For the second time, top talents from university theatres are gathering in Nanjing to perform their interpretations of selected plays by Henrik Ibsen.Read more >

	From October 24th to 30th Fannaråken Wind Quintet will take both children and grown-ups on a musical journey from the concert hall through the beautiful Norwegian scenery.Read more >

Ny sjømannsprest til Kina i desember 2011
	I slutten av november kjem sjømannspresten til Kina igjen. Annstein Lothe er ny sjømannsprest med ansvar for Kina fram til sommaren 2012. På denne turen til Kina kjem han til å vere i Kina frå 30. november til 16. desember.Read more >
