December is soon upon us, and the end of 2009 is drawing closer. 2009 has been a year with many exciting events and happenings.
 
November has been another eventful month. Ambassador Mr. Svein Sæther visited Xinhua news agency, the Embassy held a mini-seminar on Highly Enriched Uranium minimization, Notch Festival, the Magic Flute and Nordox- Nordic Documentary Film festival.

Nordox continues in December and Peer Gynt will be in Beijing this month. Two Norwegian artists will take part in an exhibition at the Palace Museum. On Dec. 7, there will be a Chinese –Norwegian Business Network Conference on Sustainable Development and Business Practices.

Ridderrennet China – a cross-country ski competition for disabled athletes will be held in Changchun on Jan. 1, 2010.

For Norwegians, there will Julegudstjeneste at the Embassy on Dec. 5 followed by Juleverksted arranged by KlubbNorge Beijing.

	On Nov. 25, 2009, Ambassador Svein O. Sæther together with Cultural Attache Tone Helene Aarvik, 2nd Secretary Erling Hoem and 2nd Secretary Tommy Flakk visited Xinhua News Agency, on the ocassion of its soon to be opened Oslo representative office. Read more >
