The 2010 Chinese Culture Festival is the third festival of its kind. Previous festivals were held in 2004 and 2007, with great success. This year’s programme includes a number of exciting activities, such as a festival parade, exhibitions, seminars, theatre, films and much more.
The theme of the 2010 festival is Chinese minority cultures. China is a society with many diverse traditions and Yunnan province in particular is known for its wide diversity of cultures. The festival aims to showcase this plethora of unique characteristics to a Norwegian audience.
The Festival is supported financially by Oslo municipality, The Norwegian Foreign Ministry and the Norwegian Culture Council. The two main sponsors are Huawei Technologies Norway and Den Norske Veritas.
