On Nov. 25, 2009, Ambassador Svein O. Sæther together with Cultural Attache Tone Helene Aarvik, 2nd Secretary Erling Hoem and 2nd Secretary Tommy Flakk visited Xinhua News Agency, on the ocassion of its soon to be opened Oslo representative office.
Ambassador Sæther had a pleasant meeting with Mr. Zhou Xisheng, Vice President of Xinhua News Agency. Ambassador affirmed that the opening of Oslo representative office of Xinhua News Agency will contribute to the deepening of the dynamic relations between Norway and China.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Li Guorong, chief reporter of Xinhua News Agency in Oslo, followed by a short tour to the office and production studio.
