As part of an extensive trip to China that included participation at the EXPO in Shanghai, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Trond Giske, also visited Guangdong in the end of May. Mr. Giske is a strong advocate for closer Sino-Norwegian business and trade relations.

The Norwegian minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Trond Giske was on a 10-day visit to China between the 21st and 31st of May. The minister’s program, which centered on Norway Day at Expo 2010 Shanghai also included visits to Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Chongqing.
