Due to Norway’s experience and advanced technology in the offshore sector, the offshore wind power sector holds interesting prospects for future Chinese-Norwegian cooperation, as was also emphasized on the Offshore Wind China Conference in Shanghai, held June 7-9.
Furthermore, the State Secretary had a meeting with the Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization in Shanghai.
Mr. Skogholt also went to Ningbo where he met Vice Mayor, Mr. Su Limian and discussed the possibilities for Chinese-Norwegian Science and Technology cooperation in the fields of environment protection and city construction. In Ningbo, the State Secretary also met with the Nordic Industrial Park.
