Embassy Newsletter November 2016
The cold winds of winter have arrived in Beijing with this week seeing the coldest temperatures for end of November in 30 years! However, the cold weather does not mean that there are any less events and activities for us to cover here at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing
Earlier this month two representatives from the Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture held a lecture on Norwegian Inclusive Design for interested audiences in both Beijing and Shanghai. We also hosted a very successful NorAlumni event together with Innovation Norway right here at the Embassy. And not to mention Norwegian snowboard talent Marcus Kleveland won the Air+Style competition in one of China’s most iconic stadiums, the Bird’s Nest in Beijing!
December is a busy month for many, especially for those of us preparing for the Christmas holiday season. Before the stress of Christmas kicks in with full force however, the Embassy will be hosting an Arctic seminar. On December 6 we welcome you to come listen to interesting lectures from some of the world’s most formidable polar explorers! Stay tuned to our website and weibo for more information on this and many other activities and events this coming month!
