Robert Løken is an experienced adventurer. He has previous kayaked from the Southern point of Norway (Lindesnes) to the most Northern (the North Cape). He has walked across Great Britain, and walked along the Great Wall of China for two months. Now he is back to finish the walk he started.
A meeting with his old kindergarten teacher made him decide to go after his dream and realising it. Now almost 9 months after his start from Jiayuguan on March 10, 2009 he is in Datong, Shaanxi. The main obstacle at the moment is finding a solution to keep his drinking water from freezing.
