The Embassy has the administrative responsibility for the following provinces; Beijing, Chongqing, Gansu, Guizhou, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hunan, Hubei, Jilin, Liaoning, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Xinjiang, Yunnan. The Ambassador in Beijing is also accredited to Mongolia.

Ambassaden i Beijing og generalkonsulatene i Shanghai og Guangzhou har alle praktikantordninger. Ambassaden har vanligvis to til tre praktikanter, GK Shanghai en til to og GK Guangzhou en. Praktikantoppholdene varer i seks måneder, og kan ikke forlenges. Ledige praktikantopphold vil til enhver tid være annonsert på stasjonens hjemmeside.
