1. Guangdong Municipal Labor & Social Security Bureau
The GMLSSB is responsible for drafting policies and regulations related to social insurance in Guangdong province and supervising implementation of: local Labor & Social Security policies and laws; the development plan for the labor market; the Chinese overseas employment and foreigner employment policy; the implementation rules of vocation categorization and vocational skill criteria and industrial standard; the labor relations system and plan and the implementation rules of labor contracts; the macro-policy and measures of staff salary; the policy and criteria of pension, unemployment, medical, industrial injury and maternity insurance; and the policy of social insurance premium collection, payment, management and operation etc.
The GMLSSB collects information on labor issues and social insurance and also publishes statistics.

2. Guangdong Labor Dispute Arbitration Committee
GLDAC mediates and arbitrates labor conflicts between enterprise and employees. Its responsibilities are to guide and coordinate the labor conflict arbitration at different levels, to handle significant cases in the province, and to manage the arbitrators and organize the arbitration court.

3. General Labor Union of Guangdong Province
The Union maintains the legal and democratic rights of labor, and treats labor relations and management of social conflicts as additional duties. Its responsibilities emphasize investigation of significant cases relating to labor legal rights including the serious worker accidents, and communication of worker expectations and requirements to the provincial authorities. The Union is also involved in the institution of policy, measures and laws related to labor rights.
The Union takes part in research on labor safety and health and the labor welfare status, in order to provide the government with suggestions for supervision and guidance.

4. Guangdong Center for Disease Control and Prevention
GCDCP mainly focuses on disease prevention and control for the whole province. Its responsibilities include providing first-aid treatment in case of unexpected public health incidents, reporting on disease epidemics and collecting health-related information, monitoring and intervening on health hazard factors, undertaking the lab testing and assessment, health education and promotion, and technology management and application guidance.
